Tillandsia Filifolia (Air Plant)

Tillandsia or Air Plant Filifolia is a botanically unique species originating from Mexico–Guatemala. It features very narrow flexible leaves, creating a characteristic structure that makes it instantly recognizable. Its coloration shifts with light exposure due to trichome density, allowing tones ranging from bright green to silvery or reddish hues. When blooming, it produces soft pale blooms, adding vibrant ornamental value. As an epiphyte, its morphology—including leaf rigidity, water storage capacity, and trichome patterns—reflects evolution in challenging environments. For care, it thrives in bright light, gentle watering, benefits from strong airflow, and prefers warm temperatures.
